Music to me is like a vessel of my soul, it carries me to my utopia. I often draw inspiration from the sounds of nature, in which I feel my mind blending with the tide and the gentle whispers of the wind. I look for resonance with the elements around me and believe that everything around me has a soul, and by hearing their sound I can add them to my creation of art.
I focus on compositions, electronic music, and sonic experiments. I love the sensations of clashing industrial and nature, and flowing between improvisation and structural. I think that conflicts rather creates exceptional sounds. That conflict is what I’m seeking in my music production. I hope my listeners can hear the tear but also feel the unity in those contradicting but coordinating sounds
Guitar is also very essential in my compositions. I like to run it through my pedal board and it’s the foundation and base of my compositions. I like to blend my guitar sound into something that’s distorted, glitched, and unnatural, like a dolphin sound or recording vocals through guitar pickups. Its unnatural nature eventually turns itself into a sound that could be commonly found in the nature instead.
Visual art is another essential element of my music production. I think every sound is deeply connected to visual information. A big part of my compositions are inspired by visuals of landscapes in my head, and my sound conveys that the land somehow exists. Being able to deliver aesthetic perception both visually and acoustically is my next goal.
